Agni Natchathiram to be remade in Tamil and Telugu


Agni Natchathiram is a 1988 Tamil language super hit movie written and directed by Mani Rathnam. T. Ramesh, who is currently producing Vishal’s Samar has received the remake rights of Agni Natchathiram.

 
Ramesh confirmed in a daily news that he has got the remake rights of this movie and he is searching for the top heroes in Kollywood and Tollywood for the male lead of this film. He added that he is thrilled about remaking this big project in Tamil and Telugu languages and it will be starred by top stars from both the industries. He also announced that he will come up with the cast and crew details of this movie within a couple of weeks.


It was earlier announced that Agni Natchthiram will be remade in Hindi. Ajay Devgan is starring and producing this film who earlier acted in the Hindi remake of Tamil Blockbuster movie Singam which was titled as Singham. Now the latest buzz is that the film will be remade in Tamil and Telugu.


Agni Natchathiram, a classic blockbuster movie is about two half brothers fighting each other to claim authencity as sons of common father and joins together at last. Prabhu Ganesan and Karthik Muthuraman played the lead roles with Amala and Nirosha. Especially all the songs scored by Ilayaraaja were evergreen still having  fans for it and the lyrics penned by Vaali.
