Nandita Das, an actress cum director who impressed Tamil
audience with her performance in Azhagi, Manirathnam’s Kannathhil Muthhamittal and Vishwa Thulasi is
again playing an important role in Tamil Movie Neer paravaigal. The credit of
bringing back Nandita das to Kollywood goes to Udhayanidhi Stalin, the producer
of this film.
Nandita Das had her debut in Tamil film industry through the
film Azhagi and acted in two more movies. Then she was busy in other languages and
in the direction. The buzz is that she returns to Kollywood by playing
important role in Neer Paravaigal.
Neer paravaigal is a forthcoming Tamil movie starring
Vishnu, Sunaina, Anupama Kumar and Nandita Das. Vishnu is acting as a fisherman
in this movie.
Neer paravaigal is directed by Seenu Ramasamy who filmed the
movie Thenmerku Paruvakkatru which won three National Awards in 2010. The movie
score and the soundtracks are done by NR. Raghunathan and lyrics penned by
Vairamuthu. The cinematography is being done by Balasubramaniam and produced
under the banner of Red Giant.
As this movie is about the story of a village fisherman,
major portion of the shooting is taken along the coastal areas. The shooting is
delayed as Vishnu injured in the Celebrity Cricket League. Recently, the crew
of this movie is shooting the film at the coastal region of Tiruchendur.
Nandita das will join the crew for shooting of her portion in the second week
of May.
